MULTIPLE SECTIONS, COLUMNS AND THEIR VISIBILITY

In this post we will learn how you can add multiple sections and columns in a screen flow. Also we will learn how we can set their visibility.

Use Case :

Create a form in which we will show multiple sections and we can set the visibility according to the requirement.

Step 1 : Create a screen flow and add Section from Components.

now, just like that for adding multiple sections you just have to drag the section component one more time to the canvas and here you have it. You will have two sections on your form now.

Here is the output :

I have added three sections here. One for name which contains first name and last name. Second contains date and the third one contains a simple text.

Step 2 : Now let's just add multiple columns in the section. You can add maximum four columns in a section.

I am adding weight, rate, qty and amount column and showing you the output.

Click on the section and on the right side you will see "Configure Column" option. From here you can add your columns.

Step 3 : Let's learn how we can set the visibility of sections. Now what we will do is, If the first name and last name is not blank then only date section will appear. After date is filled then the weight section will appear.

Select the date section and on the right side you will see there is a "Set Component Visibility" option from which you can add condition to set the visibility. By default the visibility is set to "Always".

Same we will do for weight section.
